By accessing and using the website https://www.moneywithcarla.com/ (the “Website”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must refrain from accessing or using the Website.
2. Services Offered
All shared content is educational in nature and does not constitute financial advice. Any calculations or returns referenced are based on historical figures and may contain errors. Future returns are not guaranteed and are not indicative of future performance. Make sure to do your own research. All information shared is market sensitive and subject to change as markets and economic conditions evolve. Personalised one-on-one advice is available exclusively to Invest with Confidence students through direct consultation calls. We are authorised as juristic representatives to render financial services, including advice, under Wealth Office (Pty) Ltd, FSP 54904.
Educational courses provided by Money With Carla do not establish a client-advisor relationship, and nothing in our course content should be taken as personal financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or otherwise use any content from the Website without the prior written consent of Money with Carla.
Nothing in these Terms shall be construed as granting any license or right to use any trademark, logo, or other proprietary material without the express written permission of Money with Carla or the relevant rights holder. Unauthorised use of any content may result in legal action, including fines and other penalties.
6. Login Access & Security
Access to Money with Carla courses and associated materials is provided on a strictly individual basis. When you purchase a course, you are granted a non-transferable, non-exclusive right to access the content for your personal use only. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials (including your username and password) for accessing any courses or members-only areas on the Website.
You may not share, distribute, or otherwise make your login credentials available to any other individual or entity, whether for free or for compensation. Any such sharing or unauthorised use constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may result in the immediate suspension or termination of your account, without refund, as well as potential legal action.
Any activity occurring under your account is your responsibility. If you become aware of any unauthorised access to or use of your account, you must notify Money with Carla immediately. Money with Carla reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if we suspect or discover that you have shared your login details or otherwise violated this clause.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
While reasonable efforts are made to keep the information on the Website up to date, the information and Services provided on the Website are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Money with Carla disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, suitability, availability, and non-infringement. Money with Carla does not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Website or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or other harmful components. Your use of the Website and reliance on any information provided is at your own risk.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Money with Carla shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your access to or use of the Website or the Services, even if Money with Carla has been advised of the possibility of such damages. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from (i) the use or the inability to use the Website; (ii) the cost of procurement of substitute goods and services resulting from any goods, data, information or services purchased or obtained or messages received or transactions entered into through or from the Website; (iii) unauthorised access to or alteration of your transmissions or data; (iv) statements or conduct of any third party on the Website; or (v) any other matter relating to the Website.
Apart from personalised advice provided to Invest with Confidence students in one-on-one consultation calls (see clause 2), Money with Carla provides educational content only. Decisions you make, actions you take, or products you purchase based on any content provided via the Website or any related channels (including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube) are entirely at your own risk. Money with Carla does not accept any liability for financial decisions, purchases, or investments made by any users.
It should be noted that fictitious profiles, impersonating Carla or MWC Group Ltd., may contact you with offers and these should not be acted upon. Never transfer any money or buy any investment or financial products of any nature from individuals claiming to represent Carla without proper verification. Always ensure that individuals providing any services are authorised service providers. By using this Website and accessing our content, you acknowledge and agree that Money with Carla is not responsible for any decision you may make as a result of engaging with our content, products, or services.
9. Financial Tools Provided
Any financial calculators, information, or tools provided on the Website, or in any Money With Carla courses, are for illustrative and informational purposes only. 12. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Money with Carla, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Website or Services, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.
13. Payment Terms
For any paid Services offered by Money with Carla, payment is due immediately upon signing up or as otherwise specified. Access to the service or commencement of the course will only be granted upon receipt of full payment or adherence to the agreed-upon short payment terms.
Late payments will result in access to products being revoked immediately. Failure to make timely payment may result in the delay or cancellation of Services.
Products from Money With Carla are priced in US Dollars. The amount paid by you may be influenced by your bank’s and card issuer’s charges for foreign currency transactions as well as the exchange rate offered for currency translation. For certain products refund options are available (see clause 14), and refunds will be made in US Dollars. We cannot refund the extra charges described above and cannot be held responsible for changes in foreign currency exchange rates between the date of purchase and the date of refund.
14. Refund Policy: 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
14.1 Our guarantee
We want you to feel confident enrolling. If the course isn’t right for you, you can request a full refund within 14 days of enrolling, provided you haven’t gone further than Module 0 and Module 1. No questions asked.
14.2 When the 14 days start
The 14-day period starts on the date your payment is successfully processed and you receive access to the course (“enrolment date”). Requests must reach us by 23:59 (South African time) on the 14th day after your enrolment date.
14.3 How much of the course you can complete
To qualify for a refund, you may have completed Module 0 and Module 1 only. If you’ve started or completed any lesson in Module 2 or beyond, you won’t qualify. Progress is confirmed using the records on our course platform.
14.4 How to request a refund
Email us at info@moneywithcarla.com from the email address you used to enrol, with the subject line “Refund request.” You don’t need to give a reason.
14.5 How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are paid in full to your original payment method within 7–10 business days of approval, subject to clause 13. The time it takes to reflect in your account depends on your bank or card provider.
14.6 What happens after a refund
Once your refund is processed, your access to the course, its materials, and any bonuses included with your purchase [including Compound Club access], if bundled will be removed.
14.7 When the guarantee doesn’t apply
The guarantee doesn’t apply if your request is made after the 14-day period, if you’ve started or completed any part of Module 2 or a later module, or if you’ve previously received a refund for the same course. We may also decline a refund where there’s clear evidence of misuse, such as sharing login details or redistributing course materials.
14.8 Your statutory rights
This guarantee is in addition to, and does not limit, any rights you may have under the consumer protection laws of your country, including South African consumer protection law.
15. Non-Cancellable, Non-Refundable Contracts
Where you enter into a contract with Money with Carla for specific services or programs that involve onboarding and commencement of service, you acknowledge and agree that such contracts are non-cancellable by you and all fees paid are non-refundable, except as may be explicitly stated in a separate written agreement signed by Money with Carla. This clause does not apply to course purchases covered by the 14-day money-back guarantee in clause 14.
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland, excluding its conflict of law rules. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Website shall be the competent courts in Zurich, Switzerland. However, if you are a consumer resident in a country where mandatory consumer-protection laws apply, you will retain the benefit of those rights despite this choice of law.
17. Changes to These Terms
Money with Carla reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Website. Your continued use of the Website after the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for updates. However, if changes are material, we will notify users by a notice on the Website or by other appropriate means.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Money with Carla with respect to the Website and Services and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether oral or written.
These Terms are provided in English. In case of any discrepancies between the English version and a translated version, the English version shall prevail.
Money with Carla reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue all or any part of the Website at any time without prior notice.
